The composite material is matched to your natural tooth color, so fillings blend seamlessly within your teeth. After the tooth is prepped, the filling will be placed and shaped to fit  the void precisely. Dental fillings are a reliable and durable option for general dentistry that can be placed in just one dental visit.

We perform regular oral cancer screenings as part of our comprehensive general dentistry services. These annual screenings are painless, quick procedures that involve a simple examination of your teeth and gums. After you have rinsed your mouth with a special cleansing solution, Dr. Newman uses a VELscope® to detect any signs of cancer. When detected in its earliest stages, oral cancer is one of the most treatable types of cancer.

We utilize VELscope®, an important FDA-approved tool that detects abnormalities in the oral tissues that may lead to cancer. During VELscope® examination, Dr. Newman shines a handheld extension of this tool into your mouth, which highlights the contrast between normal and abnormal cells in your gums.
